FIRST FRIDAY (Monthly Public Event)
Join us the First (1st) Friday of every month from 6-8 pm for an open house reception, featured artist exhibits, and to mix & mingle with our professional local artists. It is a monthly debut of our gallery artists’ latest work, an opportunity to meet the artist and pick up a new piece for your home(s), workspace, man cave/cloud, she-shed, or travel home.

This event is free and open to everyone - Art Collectors, Art Curious, Chattanooga Visitors, Residents — Natives & Transplants, etc. Join us monthly to see what’s new, wind down your work week, and support our local visual arts community!

Our Space Can be Your Space

Area 61 gallery with the backdrop of 30+ professional local artists’ work is an impressive and approachable space to host your corporate event — client appreciation events or convention/conference welcome receptions. It is a perfect environment to mingle with your clients over cocktails and mocktails and/or with passed hors d’oeuvres.

The gallery is located in the City-Center district, among all of the downtown convention and conference hotels, accessible via the Free Electric CARTA Shuttle loop, next door to the historic Tivoli Theatre, neighboring the vibrant West Village Chattanooga and with some of the city’s best restaurants within walking distance. You won’t find a better location featuring the best of local professional artists within the city to host your event.
